Today the world is in turmoil.  The economies are in trouble and we are starting to see and be affected by the financial decline on a micro economic level.  People are foreclosing on their dream houses and loosing desirable long term jobs.  There is a sense of despair and aloneness.  There are wars and senseless deaths in the world and people are disappointed in their leaders.  At the same time, a shift is occurring for many people; a shift that pulls people towards helping each other, connecting and be outwardly focused on what is needed in the world.  Moreover, thanks to media and the internet, there is more awareness and information on how we can attain joy and peace of mind, regardless of our circumstances.  As an example, Eckhart Tolle’s new book “A New Earth-Finding Your Life’s Purpose” has through the support of Oprah drawn over 500,000 eager world wide ...
